MONROE — On Aug. 25:
● A farm accident was reported at 11:30 a.m. in the N7000 block of County A near Argyle. A steer had pushed a steel gate, which hit a woman and knocked her unconscious. Green County EMS responded to assist Argyle EMS but the request for an assist was canceled before arrival.
On Aug. 26:
● An unresponsive male was reported at 7:35 p.m. at a home in the 1300 block of 25th Avenue. The patient was transported to a hospital.
● A man lying outside the entrance to the Jail House Tap on 4th Street was reported by a passerby at 8:17 p.m. He was fine.
Darlington Police
DARLINGTON — An apartment fire was reported at 3:30 a.m. Aug. 23 in the 300 block of Main Street. Preliminary findings suggest a tenant left items on a stovetop and fell asleep. The fire filled the three-unit apartment building with smoke. It was quickly extinguished by the Darlington Fire Department. One resident was treated onsite. A police officer evacuating residents suffered smoke inhalation and was taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County for treatment. He was hospitalized in fair condition, then released later the same morning.

DARLINGTON — On Aug. 1:
● Green County EMS of Darlington and Gratiot First Response responded at 1:49 a.m. to Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot, for a cancer patient in pain. Deputies assisted and Darlington police assisted with traffic control.
● Green County EMS of Darlington responded at 3:35 a.m. to Center Hill Road, Town of Darlington. Deputies assisted.
● Blanchardville EMS responded at 3:38 p.m. to Lake Road, Town of Fayette. A deputy assisted.
● Mineral Point Fire Department and Mineral Point EMS responded to an ATV and trailer on fire at 4:16 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. A deputy assisted.
On Aug. 3:
● Green County EMS of Darlington responded at 5:44 a.m. to Center Hill Road in Darlington. Deputies assisted.
● Hazel Green EMS responded at 10:33 p.m. to County W, Town of Benton. A deputy assisted.
On Aug. 5:
● A possible fire was reported at 9:06 p.m. on Jennings Road, Town of Wiota. The Wiota Fire Department, Wiota First Response and Argyle EMS were paged and later disregarded.
● Green County EMS of Darlington responded at 9:36 p.m. to Roller Coaster Road, Town of Darlington. A deputy and Darlington police assisted.
● The Shullsburg Fire Department responded for a fire alarm at 10:58 p.m. on West Heller Court in Shullsburg.
On Aug. 6:
● Shullsburg EMS responded at 3:43 p.m. to West Blackstone Street in Shullsburg. Shullsburg police assisted.
● Shullsburg Fire Department responded for a fire alarm at 8:30 p.m. on West Heller Court. Shullsburg police and a deputy assisted.
● Argyle Fire Department responded for a smoke alarm at 9:30 p.m. on South Lafayette Street in Argyle. A deputy assisted. Argyle EMS was paged and later disregarded.
On Aug. 9:
● Argyle EMS responded at 5:22 p.m. to South Lafayette Street in Argyle.
