MONROE — No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 2:23 p.m. June 23 in the 1600 block of 11th Street. Elaine J. Lancaster, 76, Monroe, was eastbound and hit a legally parked and unoccupied vehicle. The parked vehicle sustained minor damage. Lancaster’s vehicle sustained moderate damage. She was cited for inattentive driving.

MONROE — Injuries were reported from a multiple-vehicle crash at 6:03 p.m. June 21 on Wis. 11 and Allen Road, Town of Cadiz. Jerod E. Sandlin, 29, Darlington, was westbound when he fell asleep and hit a vehicle operated by Pamela L. Scott, 60, South Wayne. He then hit another vehicle operated by Joshua P. Havens, 31, Apple River. Sandlin, his passenger, Yanira Andreu Velazquez, 33, Reedsburg and Scott were transported by Green County EMS for medical evaluation. Sandlin’s vehicle sustained severe damage with airbag deployment. It was towed. Scott’s vehicle sustained severe damage. It was towed. Havens’ vehicle sustained minor damage. Sandlin was cited for inattentive driving, failure to install/tamper with/disobey order for ignition interlock device and driving after revocation. Browntown Fire Department assisted.
Lafayette County Sheriff
● Timothy A. Haffele, 63, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 8:04 p.m. on County K, Town of Darlington. His 2012 Ford sustained minor damage.
● Richard P. Kalpinski, 25, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer at 5:07 a.m. June 17 on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg. His 2007 Ford sustained moderate damage.
● Minor injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 12:29 a.m. June 19 on County W, Town of New Diggings. Devonte M. Thomas, 20, Freeport, was eastbound when he swerved to miss a deer causing his vehicle to leave the roadway coming to rest in the ditch. His 1998 Mercury sustained moderate damage. It was towed. A passenger, Jason S. Jones, 20, Freeport, was cited for possession of marijuana. Benton First Response and Hazel Green EMS assisted.
On June 21:
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 2:57 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. Catie D. Blosch, 16, Shullsburg, lost control of her vehicle, exited the roadway and entered the ditch hitting a fence. Her 2011 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage. It was towed. Darlington Fire, Green County EMS of Darlington and Darlington Police Department assisted.
● No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 11:49 p.m. on South Lafayette Street in Argyle. Quintan J.D. McCallister, 22, Darlington, was northbound when he hit a parked vehicle owned by Kaitlyn L. Wirtz, 33, Argyle. Both vehicles sustained severe damage. They were towed. McCallister was cited for inattentive driving and GLD violations.
