Esther L. Wisnefske, age 99 of Monroe, formerly of Clintonville, passed away Saturday November 12, 2011 at the Pleasant View Nursing Home in Monroe.
Esther was born in Clintonville on July 13, 1912 as the daughter of the late Charles and Louise (Westphal) Binder. She grew up in Clintonville where she graduated from high school and was later united in marriage to Max Wisnefske on July 13, 1946. Esther was employed as a secretary for the FWD Seagrave Corporation, the Clintonville Middle School, and Christus Lutheran Church where she was a life-long member. Esther enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and bowling. She particularly liked spending weekends with her family at their cottage in northern Wisconsin where she also enjoyed time spent fishing. Esther was also active with her church as a member of the Women's Circle. Max preceded his wife in death on December 13, 1997. Within the past few years, Esther moved to the Angelus Retirement Community in Clintonville and later transferred to the Angelus in Monroe to be near family. While at Angelus she enjoyed visiting with friends and taking in an occasional game of Bingo.

Grandchildren: Matthew (Adrienne Roach) Wisnefske, Waltham, MA.

Leanna Wisnefske, Madison.
Esther is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, her husband Max, sisters Verona Tomlin & Frances Piehl, niece Jacquelin McMahon, brother-in-laws Walter, Reinhold, Ed, Art, Harvey, Milton, & Clarence Wisnefske, and a sister-in-law Sadie Honish.
Funeral services will be held Friday November 18, 2011 at 11 AM at the Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville with Rev. Alan Daugherty officiating. Interment will follow at the Graceland Cemetery also in Clintonville.
Friends may call at the Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville, on Thursday from 5 - 8 PM and on Friday from 10 AM until the time of the services.
