VERONA - Donna V. Ott, age 79, found peace surrounded by family, after a lengthy battle with heart disease on Friday, June 24, 2016. She was born July 18, 1936 in Monroe the daughter of Salmer and Tena (Peterson) Bowman. She was united in marriage to Donald J. Ott on November 12, 1955 in New Glarus. Donna and Donald celebrated their 60th anniversary with their immediate family in December.
She loved bowling, golf and playing cards. She was a great cook and wonderful baker. Her greatest joy was time spent with her family. She was a good listener; the watchful, quiet soul in a robust, vocal tight-knit, loving family.
Donna is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald; four children, Dwight (Cindy) of Oregon, Diane (Rich) Strohmenger of Oregon, Donovan of Mt. Horeb, Denise (Jeff) Leuzinger of Mt. Horeb; six grandchildren, Derek and Brandon Ott, Haley Strohmenger, Erin and Jessica Ott, Cara Leuzinger; one great-granddaughter, Vannesa; one sister, Deanne Signer of Monroe and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings, Stanley, Salmer, Jr., Colleen, and David.

A Memorial Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 1, 2016 at SALEM UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 501 Mark Street, Verona with Rev. Dr. Mark Yurs officiating.
