BRODHEAD - Donald L. Clark, age 65, of Brodhead, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 21, 2011, at Mercy Hospital, Janesville. He was born on October 29, 1945 in Monroe, WI, the son of Kenneth and Vera (Garde) Clark. He married Yvonne Mae Potratz on July 29, 1969. She passed away on April 3, 2010.

Don had worked for General Motors of Janesville for 40 years before retiring. He was a Vietnam Marine Veteran and received the Vietnam Service and Campaign Medals. He was a member of the Albany United Methodist Church, Albany, WI, loved golfing, turkey and deer hunting, taking care of his yard, and was an avid Badger and Packer fan. He also loved spending time with the Lueck children.

He is survived by his brothers, Kenneth (Sharon) Clark and their daughter, Valeria, and sons Perry, his son Josh, Scott (Kris), Jeff and his son Sean; Arlyn (Connie) Clark, their daughter Andrea and son Christ (Rachel) and their daughters Jossie and Cassie; a daughter he never had, Courtney (Mark) Lueck, and their sons Koby, Koen, and Karson; an aunt, Lois Kirby, Beloit. He is further survived by sisters-in-law Janice Klimke, Fond du Lac, and her son Rev. Scott (Julie-Sprenkler) Klimke, and daughter Amy (Bill) Bremer and their children, Morgan, Nathan, Logan, Landan, and Nolan Bremer; Marilyn (George) Storey, Englewood, FL, and their daughter Audrey and her daughter Christyna; Judith (Paul) Mohr, Plymouth, MN and their sons, Jere (Leah Gruhn) and Preston; Phyllis (Carl) Seekins, Menasha, WI, and special devoted friends Darrell and Eunice Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a brother-in-law, Allen Klimke.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2011, at the Brodhead United Methodist Church with Rev. Pat Soddy officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., Friday, until time of services at the church. A memorial fund will be established in Don's name. The D.L.
