Bess Roethe, 93, Madison, died Sunday, July 25, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at the Monroe United Methodist Church. Friends can greet the family prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, Monroe, is serving the family.
