Clara M. "Tootie" Lincicum, age 74 of Argyle, WI, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2008 at Monroe Manor, Monroe, WI. She was born January 26, 1934 in Winslow, IL, the daughter of Karl and Martha M. (Streiff) Knutti. Clara graduated from Winslow High School in 1952. She was united in marriage to Raymond F. "Butch" Lincicum on March 21, 1953 in Dubuque, IA. Clara grew up and lived in Winslow until her marriage when she moved to Freeport, IL. Later she and her husband farmed in Lamont township until retiring to Argyle in 1991.
Clara is survived by two sisters: Hattie Clark of Woodford, WI and Viola (Glen) Albrecht of Elizabeth, IL; three sisters-in-law: Virginia Knutti and Loretta Hagen, both of Freeport, and Lola Baumgart of Chadwick, IL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Butch on November 7, 1991; five brothers: Ralph, Walter, Benjamin, Clarence and Karl Jr.; and two sisters: Marguerite Blasing and Gladys Marks.
Tootie had an effervescent personality and loved to play cards and take bus trips. She was also a die hard Brewers fan. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2008 at Erickson Funeral Home, Argyle with Rev. Dan Bohlman of Apple Grove Lutheran Church, Argyle, officiating. Burial will be at Rock Lily Cemetery, Winslow. A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle.
