Felonies

• Robert A. Cameron, 36, address unknown, was charged Sept. 29 with one Class I felony count of failure to pay child support and seven misdemeanor counts of failure to pay child support from January 2013 to July 2017. A warrant is issued for his arrest.

• Clarence Thomas Butler, 50, address unknown, was charged Oct. 2 with two Class I felony counts of failure to pay child support from June 2012 to May 2013. A warrant is issued for his arrest.

• Mark D. Goad, 53, Madison, was charged Oct. 2 with one Class F felony count of burglary, as well as Class I felony counts of possessing burglarious tools, criminal damage to an ATM and theft of moveable property. He is also charged with Class A misdemeanors: seven counts of criminal damage to property, five counts of entry into a locked coin box and one count of theft. The charges stem from an early-morning burglary of Bridges Bar and Grill, 1034 1st Center Ave., Brodhead, on July 13, 2016. Goad allegedly snipped wires belonging to Charter Communications outside the bar, then broke into the business using a crowbar at 3:37 a.m. The criminal complaint indicates he took $500 from the bar area, then knocked over and pried open an ATM machine, taking $4,060 and causing $2,190 in damages, as well as $100 from the jukebox and $200 from four gaming machines. About five weeks later, Goad was arrested for a similar burglary in Reedsburg. State court records show Goad has a history of burglary convictions going back to 1982. A warrant is issued for his arrest.



Misdemeanors

• David J. Peacock, 30, Monroe, was charged Oct. 2 with misdemeanor bail jumping and operating while revoked (OWI-related). The charges stem from a traffic stop Sept. 18 in the 1800 block of 12th Street. The arresting officer noted that Peacock had just that day signed a signature bond with the condition that he not drive. Peacock has an initial appearance Oct. 16.

• Jane Michelle Wise, 56, Albany, was charged Oct. 2 with misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and battery, stemming from an incident Sept. 7 at her home on Jackson Street. The criminal complaint indicates she had been drinking, became upset and jumped on top of a man, pinning him down and hitting him in the face and neck, then took off. The man told police she probably "hitched a ride to South Dakota" because she "has hitch-hiked to South Dakota in the past." A warrant is issued for her arrest.
