Misdemeanors

On Tuesday:

• Angela M. Voigt, 52, Monroe, had one count of disorderly conduct dismissed as a part of a deferred prosecution agreement. The charge stems from an incident May 10. Voigt also had a separate charge of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct stemming from an incident in October 2013 dismissed.

• Mason T. Obermann, 18, Brodhead, will serve one year as a part of a deferred prosecution agreement with the potential to have his charges dismissed if Obermann complies with all terms. Obermann is charged with one count of disorderly conduct and one count of battery stemming from an incident May 4. Court records indicate that Obermann's girlfriend reported to the sheriff's department the day after he had slapped her and physically thrown her around a room. The victim and Obermann were arguing at his parents' home after coming back from an underage drinking party. The victim said Obermann became angry and punched her and she was "thrown around the room like a rag doll." Obermann's parents were home at the time of the incident but did not witness any abuse. Obermann also had an injury to his hand where he said the victim bit him. He owes the court $330.
