Martin D. Trone, 50, Beardstown, Ill., will serve one year of probation as a part of a deferred prosecution agreement passed down Wednesday for a charge of fleeing an officer via a vehicle; he also had one count of resisting an officer dismissed. Trone paid a cash bond of $268 to the court. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on March 23. If Trone complies with all conditions of the DPA, the charge could be expunged from his record.

Scot Ryan Tollakson, 42, Argyle, was found guilty due to a no-contest plea of driving while intoxicated, third offense; he also had one count of driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration dismissed. Tollakson will serve 28 days in jail with work-release privileges, two years on probation, is ordered to undergo alcohol and other drug assessment classes, is to remain substance-free during probation, have his driver's license revoked for 30 months and is ordered to install an ignition interlock device for a period of 30 months upon relicensing. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Jan. 18. Tollakson owes the court $1,931.
Nicholas R. Bongiovanni, 20, Plymouth, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of resisting an officer; he also had two other counts of resisting an officer dismissed. Bongiovanni will serve 90 days in local jail or state prison with work-release privileges to run consecutive to a Dane County conviction of armed robbery and resisting an officer. Bongiovanni was ordered to two years in state prison in April from the Dane County conviction. Police reports show that on Jan. 5 Bongiovanni was arrested in the Village of Blanchardville on a Dane County warrant and resisted arrest. He owes a fine of $443.
