Green County Misdemeanors
Kevin W. Hayden, 40, Juda, pleaded not guilty May 15 to misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, resisting an officer and unlawful phone use to threaten with obscenity, all stemming from an incident that occurred the same day in the early morning hours at Hayden's home on Washington Street in Juda. Court records allege Hayden caused a disturbance and was verbally abusive with a woman, in person and over the phone, and then resisted arrest by twisting, thrashing and struggling against deputies. Police reports indicate he was intoxicated, reportedly after a long period of sobriety. His signature bond is set at $1,500. Conditions include no drinking and no contact with the woman or the residence. A pre-trial conference is set for June 16.
