Jaime Castellanos-Lugo, Jr., 23, Monroe, was charged Friday, March 1, with Class A misdemeanor counts of retail theft and bail jumping. Court records indicate he shoplifted a $39.99 bottle of Ciroc Coconut vodka from Piggly Wiggly, 725 8th St., Monroe, on Jan. 25, and that by doing so, he violated bond conditions on a previous charge of disorderly conduct. His initial appearance in court is March 11.
Tanya Marie Wurtzbacher, 27, Albany, was charged Friday, March 1, with a Class A misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property. Court records indicate she used scissors to cut up a mattress and numerous items of her ex-boyfriend's clothing at his home in Monroe on Jan. 25. He alleged to officers she caused more than $5,000 in damages. Her first appearance in court is March 11.
Eric Christopher Schmid, 19, Monticello, was charged Friday, March 1, with Class B misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and sending threatening/obscene computer messages. Court records indicate he sent texts to a 15-year-old girl at Monticello High School, 334 S. Main St., on Jan. 17, then tried to get into the school while it was on lockdown. He pleaded not guilty to the charges on March 4. His next court date is April 16.
