Kandi Kaye Willis, 41, Shullsburg, pleaded no contest Monday, March 18, to a Class A misdemeanor charge of criminal damage to property stemming from an incident Oct. 29 in a moving vehicle in the 27000 block of Wis. 81 in Elk Grove Township. A disorderly conduct charge was dismissed. She was sentenced to one year of probation with the conditions that she not drink, take unprescribed drugs or enter taverns. Court records indicate she screamed at the driver of the car, then broke off the key in the ignition, ripped out the rearview mirror and kicked the windshield until it shattered. She was fined $343. She has already paid restitution.
