Felonies

Christie L. Saxer, 21, Pearl City, Ill., was found guilty on July 19, after pleading no contest to a count of battery, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from a Jan. 1, 2011 incident. Court records indicate that Saxer hit the victim in the head with a beer mug, causing a gash to the head. Saxer was sentenced to 18 months of probation and fined $243.

Jeremy G. Kahl, 23, Prairie du Chien, was found guilty on July 18, after pleading guilty to burglary of a building or dwelling, a class F felony, stemming from a Dec. 23, 2006 incident. Court Records indicate that he entered Anchor Club in Brooklyn without the consent of the owner, through a broken window on the west side of the building, with the intent to steal.

Kahl was sentence to 18 months in prison, 48 months of extended supervision, and ordered to pay $3,435 in restitution. He was fined $250.

Misdemeanors

Karen L. Wirth, 49, Monroe, was found guilty on July 20, after pleading non contest to a charge of possession of THC, a unclassified misdemeanor, stemming from a July 12, 2010 incident. Wirth's case was a deferred prosecution and sentence, where she is to follow the prosecution agreement, which includes refraining from consuming alcohol beverages and refraining from violation any other laws.

She was fined $163.
