The court Wednesday scheduled an April 16 status conference for John M. Miller, 34, Belleville, who pleaded not guilty to intimidating witnesses and bail jumping.
Court records indicate he contacted a woman and a victim who will be witnesses in a case against him in which he is charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child Jan. 15. He was on bond for first-degree sexual assault of a child at the time of the incident.
He is charged with two counts of intimidating a witness, a class G felony, and bail jumping, a class H felony. He faces up to 26 years in prison and up to $60,000 in fines, if convicted.
He remains jailed on a $10,000 cash bond.
The court Wednesday scheduled a March 4 district attorney conference for William C. Prinkey, 20, Monroe, who is charged with burglary, bail jumping, theft and concealing stolen property.
Court records indicate he entered two Monroe residences, took video game equipment and DVDs and hid the items Feb. 7. He was on bond for forgery at the time of the incidents.
He is charged with two counts of forgery, both class F felonies, two counts of bail jumping, both class H felonies, two counts of theft and two counts of concealing stolen property, all class A misdemeanors. He faces 40 years in prison and up to $110,000 in fines, if convicted.
He remains jailed on a $2,000 cash bond.
