MISDEMEANORS

• Nicholas Jason Roth, 36, Albany, was sentenced to a total of 150 days in jail after revoking his probation on a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana and after pleading no contest to unrelated charges of disorderly conduct and violating jail rules. Roth violated his probation first on Nov. 2, 2015, when he appeared intoxicated on a Monroe woman's front porch screaming incoherently. Roth, who later admitted to having smoked hashish, was taken into custody after throwing a barbecue grill across the porch, screaming at police officers and claiming he was a gorilla. While in jail, Roth violated jail rules by urinating on another inmate's bed, allegedly because the victim owed money. Roth was sentenced to 120 days in jail for violating his probation, with an additional 30 days added for urinating on the bed. Roth was also fined $379 on his disorderly conduct charge.

• Angela D. Eichelkraut, 47, Belleville, entered into a year-long deferred prosecution agreement Thursday on a misdemeanor charge of possessing an illegally obtained prescription. The charge stems from an accusation made on April 29, 2015, when Eichelkraut was accused of stealing prescription painkillers from a man she was caring for. It was later found that the man had willingly given her painkillers to treat her back pain.

• Eric John Gruber, 48, Monroe, was fined $1,073 Thursday after pleading no contest to a Class A misdemeanor charge of obstructing an officer and a Class B misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. The charges stem from an incident on Oct. 18, 2015, when Gruber was reported belligerently drunk on a Monroe roadway. When he was apprehended, Gruber repeatedly shouted and swore at officers before refusing to move under his own power. When he was jailed, Gruber continued to berate jail staff.
