Felonies


• Samuel T. Bober, 27, Linden, was sentenced March 27 to one year in jail, minus 222 days sentence credit, after he was found guilty of revoking his probation on a 2011 felony conviction of driving while intoxicated, fourth offense. He owes the court $1,220.44.

• Justin Lee Johnson, 27, Darlington, has a preliminary hearing April 8 on charges filed against him earlier this month of felony burglary and two counts of felony theft. Court records indicate he broke into a home in the 6300 block of County E in Shullsburg Township last July and stole guns, including a Smith and Wesson .357 caliber and a Norinco .752 caliber.

• William Robert Pollock, 21, Belleville, was charged March 14 with two counts of forgery, a Class H felony. Court records indicate he forged a check on Oct. 14 for $35 to Gratiot Fast Stop and on Oct. 15 for $25 to South Wayne Mart. His next court date is April 17.



Misdemeanors

• Susan Rose Helton, 24, Boscobel, pleaded no contest March 27 to Class A misdemeanor charges of theft, criminal trespass to a dwelling and criminal damage to property. She was sentenced to one year of probation with the conditions that she not drink or enter any establishment that sells primarily alcohol. She is also ordered to undergo an assessment for alcohol abuse. Police records indicate she was arrested July 31 after deputies responded to a report of breaking and entering on Center Street in South Wayne.

• Oscar Martinez-Herrera, 23, Darlington, pleaded guilty March 13 to a charge of disorderly conduct stemming from a domestic dispute Jan. 23 at a home on Ohio Street in Darlington. He was fined $367.50. Court records indicate he broke the family laptop in half and threw it on the floor after finding evidence that his estranged wife was communicating online with another man.

• Dale Edward Ackerman, 57, Debra Kay Raisbeck, 47, and Jadalynn M. Strehlow, 28, all of Argyle, were charged Tuesday, April 2, with Class B misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct stemming from a dispute March 2 at their home on Galena Street in Argyle. Their initial appearances are scheduled for April 8.

• Shawn M. Benson, 38, Darlington, was charged March 13 with violating a restraining order Jan. 30 by calling his ex-wife six times in one day. His next court date is April 17.

• Erin Elizabeth Brown, 22, Shullsburg, was charged March 14 with a Class B misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct stemming from a dispute Feb. 7 at her home on West Water Street in Shullsburg.

• Jessica L. Eichorst, 23, Cobb, was charged March 14 with four Class A misdemeanor counts of credit card theft and fraud and three Class H felony counts of forgery. Court records indicate she stole a credit card from Darlington's Sienna Crest Assisted Living, 1619 Fayette Rd., while an employee there, and used it to make purchases on six occasions during the fall of 2012 at the Piggly Wiggly in Darlington. Her next court date is April 8.

• Kent Ryan Johnson, 29, Blanchardville, is wanted on an arrest warrant for nine Class A misdemeanor charges of writing worthless checks in early January. Court records indicate he wrote eight worthless checks, totaling $393, between Jan. 3 and Jan. 11 to Crossroads Bar and Grill, Wiota Township. He is also charged with writing a worthless check for $359.33 on Dec. 6 to Thunder Bridge Trading Company (RBS Activewear), Argyle. The warrant was issued after he failed to appear in court for a hearing March 25.

• Deanne L. Kim, 33, and Tyler J. Meyer, 27, both of Blanchardville, were charged March 27 with Class B misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct stemming from a dispute Feb. 17 at their home on South Main Street in Blanchardville. They are both scheduled for initial appearances on April 8.

• Dana Lee Lasater, 52, South Wayne, was charged March 27 with a Class B misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct stemming from an incident Feb. 20. Police were called to her home on West Grove Street in South Wayne for a welfare check. Court records indicate she had a blood-alcohol level of 0.298 percent and was belligerent with officers and later with hospital staff. Her initial appearance is April 8.

• Gerard Allen McKibben, 23, Argyle, was charged March 18 with three Class A misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property and one Class A misdemeanor count of forced entry into a building stemming from an incident Feb. 15. Court records indicate that after a night of drinking, he kicked in the door to the Pecatonica Valley Leader, 101 N. State St., Argyle, and ransacked the office, damaging office equipment and leaving blood on various surfaces from a cut, and broke out a back window. He signed a $1,500 signature bond Monday, April 1, with the conditions that he not drink or enter any establishment that sells primarily alcohol. His arraignment is April 8.
