Misdemeanors

• Lucas C. Patterson, 29, Monroe, was found guilty Monday due to a no-contest plea of misdemeanor bail jumping. He also had charges of possessing drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer and two charges of bail jumping dismissed. Patterson was on bail under a deferred prosecution agreement passed in May 2013 for battery. Court records indicate Patterson was riding as a passenger in his own vehicle from a tavern when police stopped the vehicle for a broken headlight. K-9 unit Auggie alerted to drugs in the vehicle and officers found several straws and a plastic baggie with a white powdery residue on the passenger side of the vehicle. Patterson owes a fine to the court of $516.
