Christine Diane LaGrange Soper Mason, age 52, of Browntown, died on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer, at her home. She was born on October 10, 1964 in Monroe, the daughter of George and Joyce (Broge) LaGrange.
Chris graduated from Blackhawk High School and from Southwest Technical School in Fennimore.
Chris served in the U.S. Army from 1989 - 1991.
Chris and Michael J. Mason were united in marriage on May 1, 2016 at Apple Grove Lutheran Church.
She was a CNA for Monroe Manor for 25 years.
Chris was a member of Apple Grove Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed attending her daughters sporting events, the outdoors and camping, gardening, loved animals, and loved spending time with family. She also enjoyed walking, doing her 5 mile walk every day and her yearly trips to Door County.
She is survived by her husband, Michael of Browntown, daughter, Paige Soper of Argyle, father, George LaGrange of South Wayne; 5 step-children, Levi Mason of Tuscan, AZ, Mariah (Tyler) Albrecht of Fond du Lac, Jesse, Noah, and Josiah Mason all of Richland Center; brothers, Chuck and Dave (Carmen Porter) LaGrange both of South Wayne; Eve (Matt) Pospeschil of Janesville, 3 step-grandchildren, Onyx, Arabelle and Shayleigh; as well as 2 nieces, Kendra and Kristin and many friends.
She is predeceased by her mother, Joyce.
A Celebration of Christine's Life will be Friday, November 4, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME in Monroe.
