Cheryl A. Schwartz, age 58, of rural Monroe, died on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at her home. She was born on August 27, 1959 in Monroe, the daughter of Casper "Cap" and Doris (Elmer) Aebly. She graduated from Monroe High School. Cheryl and Alan Schwartz were united in marriage on October 21, 1980 at St. John's United Church of Christ.
Cheryl was formerly employed as a dispatcher, with the Monroe Police Department for 15 years. She loved her dogs and enjoyed browsing the internet.
She is survived by her husband Alan, of Monroe; mother, Doris of New Glarus; brother, Gary (Valerie) Aebly of Monroe; nephew, Scott (Jennifer Johnson) Aebly of Monroe, their children: Trevor, Tanner and Brenna; niece, Brandi (Jon) Eyler of Monticello and their daughter, Katlyn Marie; as well as many extended family members, including several in-laws.
She is preceded in death by her father, Casper; brother, Ronald J. Aebly; parents-in-law, Alan and Noda Schwartz and sister-in-law, Marlene Welton.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 26, 2018 at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE funeral home in Monroe, with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 25th, from 1:00-3:00 p.m.at the funeral home.
