EVANSVILLE - Charlotte F. Collins, 91, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg with her family by her side. She was born on May 2, 1923 in Pleasant Prairie, Rock County, WI, daughter of C. Oscar and Grace (Hall) Brunsell. She married Roger Marc Collins on August 1, 1945 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Evansville and they enjoyed 56 years of marriage. Charlotte was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church where she taught religious classes for many years. Charlotte was her husband's bookkeeper when he delivered bottled milk products. She enjoyed 13 years being a 4-H foods leader. Her hobbies included playing cards, golfing, tending to her flowers and traveling to Arizona with Roger in the winter. She loved her family and her friends and enjoyed a busy social life for 91 years.

Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Vern) Willan of Albuquerque, NM, Candace Phelps (Tim Adler), Evansville, WI, Kathleen (Terry) Argue, Monticello, WI, Mary (Dale) Kubly, Monroe, WI; a son, Thomas (Pam) Collins, Oregon, WI; a sister, Marion Hies of Hales Corner, WI; sister-in-law Dorothy Collins, Evansville, WI; six grandchildren, Rhonda (Jim) Fahey, Christine (Bill) Mitchell, Sandra Willan (John Newkirk), Cheryl (Mike) Rivera, Riley and Sam Collins; five great-grandchildren, Katie and John Fahey, Will and Anne Mitchell and Gracie Rivera; several nieces and nephews and extended family Bob, Kelly, Jennifer and Sarah Mosher. She was predeceased in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, Bob, Mark and Howard, and son-in-law, Ron Phelps.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Evansville with Reverend Kevin Dooley officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Evansville. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., with rosary being said at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home Evansville.

Memorials may be made to Creekside Place, Agrace HospiceCare or St. Paul's Catholic Church.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the compassionate care shown by Dr. Todd Eckelberg and staff at St. Mary's Hospital and the entire staff of Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg.
