Charles "Chuck" F. Hauser, age 73 of rural Argyle, died Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. He was born on November 8, 1938 in Chicago, IL, the son of Francis and Eleanor (Rasmassen) Hauser. He was a graduate of Leyden High School in Franklin Park, IL and of DeVry Technical College. Chuck served in the Army Reserve for 4 years. Charles and Donna Krieter were married on February 6, 1960 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Franklin Park, IL. In March of 1971, Chuck moved his family from Schiller Park, IL to rural Argyle. He worked as a manager for Frito Lay Company and most recently was the lab technician for New Glarus Foods. He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Monroe. He enjoyed his dogs, going fishing, the Chicago Bears, Politics, and loved to listen to Johnny Cash. Chuck's greatest joy was his family, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Donna of rural Argyle; children, Julie (Matthew) Imperl of Greenfield, Catherine Hanson of Twin Grove, Scott (Michelle) Hauser of Darlington, Joseph (Robin) Hauser of Mt. Horeb, Edward Hauser of Argyle, Annette (Lorenzo) Cruz of Fitchburg, Matthew (Jennifer) Hauser of McFarland; grandchildren, Natalie Imperl, Nora Imperl, Danielle (Tim) Hanson, Dena (Jeremy) Dammen, Zachary Hanson, Hunter Hauser, Hannah Hauser, Cashton Hauser, Connor Cruz, Madeline Cruz, Ally Cruz, Whitney Hauser; great grandchildren, Tre and Wesley Dammen; sisters, Ruth (Dean) Krieter of Itasca, IL, Eileen (Richard) Nugent of Franklin Park, IL. He is predeceased by his parents; a son Timothy Paul; a daughter, Jennifer Ellen, both in infancy; brother, Frank Hauser and a son-in-law, Bruce Hanson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church, with Celebrant Fr. Michael E. Klarer. A visitation will be on Tuesday, from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, rural Argyle.
