Carl Wehinger age 85 of South Wayne, Wisconsin, died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Monroe Clinic Hospital. He was born May 18, 1925 the son of Frank and Ella (Rahberger) Wehinger and attended Wayne Center School. Carl was a farmer in the South Wayne area, member of St. John's Catholic Church, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to his cabin, & collecting toys, belt buckles, and old tools.
Surviving are his brother, Connie (Karen) Wehinger of Monroe, WI; and sisters, Frances Mitchell of Shannon, IL, Mathilda Swanson of Monroe, WI, LuAnn (Karl) Krahenbuhl of Monroe, WI, Dilly (Sam) Nafzger of Monroe, WI, Carol Seffrood of South Wayne, WI., nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; and sisters, Marion Hartwig, Josephine Goodman, 3 brother-in-laws; Ted Mitchell, Leroy Seffrood, and Bob Swanson.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Drive and 18th Avenue in Monroe, WI.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 15, 2010 at St. John's Catholic Church in South Wayne with Fr. Gary Krahenbuhl Celebrating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Monroe. A Memorial Fund is being established in Carl's Memory.
