On August 6th, 2016 there will be a Celebration of Life held at the Corner Pub and Deli in Argyle, WI from 1-4 p.m. in remembrance of Calvin D. Ritschard Jr. who passed away June 4th, 2016 in Tolleson, Arizona. He was born April 21, 1969 in Fallon, NV and is the son of Jenny Curless and Calvin Ritschard, Sr. He graduated from Huntington High School in 1987, and later went on to receive a business degree from the University of Wisconsin-Rock County.

Junior, as his family fondly referred to him, worked as a tour guide out west taking people hunting for elk and bears, and spent his free time enjoying hunting, fishing, playing cards, working with his dogs, and spending time with his friends. Additionally, he spent time working for Senator Judy Robinson at the Capital. He later moved to Tollesan, AZ and began the business Arizona Working Dogs where he trained service dogs for handicapped individuals, and personal use.

He is survived by his parents: Jenny Curless of Janesville, WI and Calvin (Cheryl) Ritschard, Sr of Columbia City, IN; two brothers: Troy (Teri) Ritschard of Roanoke, IN and Derek (Lisa) Curless of Friendship, WI; five nephews: Josh, Alex and Chance Ritschard, Zander and Ryker Curless; two step-nieces: Chelsey and Taylor Lott; and two godparents: Sue Buholzer and Scott Ritschard. He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents: Floyd and Helen Anderson and his paternal grandfather: Delbert Ritschard and paternal step-grandfather: John Bernet. He is also preceded in death by his faithful companion and service dog Gretchen.
