Betty M. Cleveland, 72, died September 21, 2009 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital in Monroe, WI. Betty was born July 8, 1937 to Leslie and Esther (Durham) Vohl in Knoxville, Iowa. She married Robert C. Cleveland on June 28, 1958 in Hampshire, IL., Robert died June 2, 1999.

Betty dairy farmed with her husband and sons for 36 years, she enjoyed playing 500 with her family, and visiting with her friends in downtown Winslow.

Survived by: twin daughters, Kathy (Randy) Booth of Traverse City, MI, and Mary Runkle of Forreston; two sons: Robert (Deborah) Cleveland of Rockford, and Timothy Cleveland of Winslow; six grandchildren: Scott, Bradley, and Brian VanScoy, Matthew, Amanda and Jacqlyn Runkle; 3 great-grandchildren; and her step-father, George Knaack of Genoa, IL.

Preceded in death by: her father, mother; Esther Knaack, her husband Robert, and 1 sister, Doris Wagner.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Winslow, IL.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Winslow, IL.

Officiating the service will be Pastor Randal Nicholas.

Burial will take place at the Rock Lily Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in her name.
