Arnold Gustav Walter Anderson, age 67, of Monroe, Wisconsin, died Thursday, April 8, 2010 at his home. He was born May 26, 1942 at Chicago, Illinois, the son of Walter and Agda (Benson) Anderson and attended Chicago Schools.
Arnold and Wilma Duncan were married on December 21, 1967 at Las Vegas, NV. Arnold served in the Naval Air Reserve, was in real estate in Chicago, IL and farmed in Washington Township, WI.
Surviving are his wife, Wilma Anderson of Monroe, WI; son, Robert (Mary) Anderson of Champaign, IL; daughters, Katherine (Andrew) Fornes of Nashville, TN and Kristina (Nathan) Ophardt of Brooklyn, NY; and grandchildren, Daphne Fornes, Bridget Fornes, and Rosalie Anderson. He is predeceased by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, 1455 Mansion Drive and 18th Avenue in Monroe with Rev. Gretchen Sylvester officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
A memorial fund is being established in Arnold's memory.
