Ann Krebs Miler, 88, Rothschild, died peacefully at her home January 17, 2010.
She was born Anna V. Krebs on October 18, 1921 to the late Merle and Robert Krebs in Browntown, WI. After High School she attended Madison Business College for a secretarial career where she met Thomas L. Miler. On December 24, 1941 they married at Fort Stevens, Oregon. They had two children, Trudi Miler Makoid and Bette Miler (Jim) Clement.
Ann was a beloved mother and grandmother. She had a strong faith and was active in her church, Covenant Community Presbyterian Church. Ann loved her family, friends and her cat. She enjoyed sewing, bridge, was an avid reader and kept up on local news, national news and politics. Ann will be sorely missed.
Survivors include two daughters, Trudi Miler Makoid and Bette Miler (Jim) Clement; four grandchildren, Sara Clement, Matthew Clement, Elizabeth Makoid and Andrew Makoid; one sister, Betty Heer; one brother, Frank Krebs; and many friends, extended family and Michael Makoid.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Robert and Art.
Internment services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Saucerman Cemetery in the Town of Cadiz. Rev. Sid Bouldin will conduct the graveside service. A light luncheon will follow at United Methodist Church, Monroe.
Memorial Services will be at noon Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Covenant Community Presbyterian Church, Schofield. Rev. Sid Bouldin will officiate. Fellowship with a light luncheon to follow at church.
Memorials may be made to Covenant Community Presbyterian Church or Ministry Home Care Hospice.
