New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about midnight Thursday on Sixth Avenue near Second Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Rodrigo Rodriguez Ramirez, 38, New Glarus, was backing from a driveway and hit a vehicle driven by Young Sung M. Vetterli, 18, New Glarus. The vehicles received moderate damage. A New Glarus squad car that responded to the scene slid on the icy pavement and hit a parked vehicle. The squad car received minor damage, while the parked vehicle received no damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11:15 p.m. Thursday on Sixth Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Alyssa J. Coyle, 22, New Glarus, slid off the road and hit an embankment. The vehicle received minor damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Craig H. Krupke, 20, Albany, was arrested for drunken driving, driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration and failure to maintain control of a vehicle following a report of a vehicle in a ditch at about 4 a.m. Saturday in the W900 block of Bump Road in Albany township. He was released pending court.

• A vehicle driven by Melvin V. Zoellick, 28, Browntown, collided with a deer at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the W7800 block of Wisconsin 11 in Cadiz township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Delores M. Bernet, 73, Monticello, collided with a deer at about 6:15 p.m. Sunday on County N near Vogel Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 10:15 a.m. Sunday on County I in Elk Grove township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Jamie Wilson, 25, Shullsburg, failed to stop for a stop sign and hit a vehicle driven by Holly McDermott, 20, Benton. McDermott sustained minor injuries and was taken to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County. McDermott's vehicle was towed from the scene. Wilson was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign. Belmont Ambulance, Belmont Fire Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Daniel Lawson, 17, Darlington, hit a deer at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday on North Lake Road in Fayette township. The vehicle received minor damages.

• A vehicle driven by Joseph Reichers, 35, Darlington, hit a deer at about 8 p.m. Sunday on County Shop Road in Darlington township. The vehicle received minor damage.
