TOWN OF MAGNOLIA - Three people were injured in a late Sunday morning crash involving a lawn tractor and a motorcycle.
The crash happened just before 11:20 a.m. at 196 N. Knutson Road, in the Town of Magnolia, according to Rock County Sheriff's Dept. reports.
Their investigation revealed that a 2000 Harley Davidson Electra-Glide, driven by Robert Walters, 40, of Magnolia and his passenger Karrie Jewel, 45, of Magnolia were southbound on Knutson Road when they struck a tractor driven by Freda L. Ginther, 69, also of Magnolia.
She apparently "entered the roadway to complete a turn while cutting her grass," police said in a statement. "Freda was unaware of the approaching motorcycle when she entered the roadway, colliding with the Harley-Davidson."
All three were ejected upon impact.
They were transported to Mercy Hospital, where all three victims were being treated for non-life threatening injuries Sunday afternoon.
All were in stable condition at that point, police said, adding that "citations are pending the completion of the investigation; speed and alcohol are not a factor in the crash ..."
