Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Brianna M. Price, 28, Monroe, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, battery and strangulation at 11:27 a.m. June 24 at a residence in the W4600 block of Greenbush Road, Town of Sylvester. She was jailed. 

● Steven R. Hasselmann, 53, Brodhead, was arrested on charges of endangering safety by intoxicated use of a firearm, disorderly conduct while armed and disorderly conduct at 11:43 p.m. June 25 at a residence in the W400 block of Red Cedar Lane, Town of Decatur. He was also charged with threatening law enforcement and disorderly conduct. He was jailed. Brodhead police assisted. 

● Ned J. Guerra, 24, Beloit, was cited for speeding, passing in a no-passing zone and driving without a valid license, his third offense, at 10:33 a.m. June 27 in the N4600 block of Wis. 104, Town of Decatur.

● David Alan Wright, 18, Madison, was arrested on a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor at 2:04 p.m. June 28 in the N4400 block of Dutch Hollow Road, Town of Sylvester following a trespassing complaint. Wright and a 16-year-old female, Monroe, were cited for trespassing, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Wright was released after posting bond. 

● Carrie M. Snelson, 41, Beloit, was arrested on a warrant at 10:06 p.m. June 29 in the W600 block of Wis. 59, Town of Albany. 

● Carmen K. Decker, 40, Juda, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Department of Corrections at 9:13 p.m. June 30 in the W2900 block of Main Street, Town of Jefferson. She was jailed. 

● Kyle J. Kempfer, 20, New Glarus, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing at 3:53 p.m. July 1 at a residence in the Town of Sylvester as a result of a report of an unwanted subject. He was released after posting bond. 

● Morgan S. Stamm, 23, Orangeville, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating under the influence at 12:39 a.m. July 3 in the W5300 block of Wis. 11 in Monroe. Stamm was also cited for operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration and defective tail lamps. Stamm was released. 


Monticello Police

MONTICELLO — On June 19: 

● Police assisted a resident locked out of residence at 5:44 p.m. in the 100 block of North Main Street. 

● A suspicious vehicle was reported at 6:51 p.m. in the 300 block of East Highland Avenue. Vehicle left prior to police arrival. 

● A suspicious vehicle was reported at 7:18 p.m. June 20 in the 200 block of North Main Street. Vehicle left prior to police arrival. 

On June 21: 

● An abandoned vehicle on residential property was reported at 9:55 a.m. in the 300 block of South Main Street. A corrective action letter was sent to homeowner. 

● Low hanging branches over sidewalk was reported at 11:14 a.m. in the 300 block of East Highland Avenue. A corrective action letter was sent to homeowner. 

● An injured raccoon was reported at 7:27 p.m. in the 200 block of Urban Road. The raccoon was moved to a safe location. 

● An injured rabbit was reported at 9:41 p.m. in the 200 block of West Wisconsin Avenue. The rabbit left prior to police arrival.
