On August 2:
● 1:09 p.m. A deputy responded to School ST, Village of Blanchardville for suspicious activity.
● 10:47 p.m. Emmanuel Landa-Cervantes, 19, Darlington was arrested on STH 81, City of Darlington for Obstruction. Landa-Cervantes was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later released after posting bond. Landa-Cervantes was also cited for Non-Registration of Auto, No Insurance, Speeding, Open Intoxicants, Operating without a Valid License (OWL-1st Offense), and Operating While Intoxicated (OWI-1st Offense). Darlington Police and Lafayette County EMS assisted.
On August 3:
● 10:01 a.m. A deputy responded to Carr Factory RD, Benton Township for trespassing.
● 11:05 a.m. A deputy responded to W Catherine ST, City of Darlington for a civil dispute.
● 11:36 a.m. Deputies responded to Dawn Vista DR, Village of Belmont for domestic abuse.
● 6:06 p.m. John E Steffen, 74, Burlington reported striking a deer on STH 11, Wayne Township. No injuries were reported. Steffen’s 2006 Honda received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
● 6:15 p.m. Ile Y Cherrey, 22, Shullsburg was cited on STH 81, Seymour Township for Speeding. Furthermore, Saryn K Loomis, 24, Shullsburg was cited for Open Intoxicants.
● 10:47 p.m. Olvin O Avila-Ortez, 35, Belmont was cited on W Mound View AV, Village of Belmont for Defective Tail Lamp and Violation of Child Safety Restraint. Avila-Ortez was arrested for Operating after Revocation, Bail Jumping (x2), Failure to Install IID (2nd), and Resisting/Failure to Stop. Avila-Ortez was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and currently remains.
On August 4:
● 2:04 a.m. Dominic J. Cesarone, 20, Saint Charles IL was cited for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI - 1st Offense) on STH 81, Elk Grove Township. Lafayette County EMS assisted.
● 11:47 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH Z, Darlington Township for suspicious activity.
On August 5:
● 12:57 a.m. A deputy assisted Darlington Police on Ravine Street in the City for a domestic dispute.
● 3:26 p.m. Deputies responded to Riverbend Road, Gratiot Township for a one vehicle rollover. Katalina LJ Dicks, 21, Gratiot was traveling westbound on Riverbend Road in her 2020 Nissan when she crossed the centerline, went into the ditch and rolled over. Dicks and her two juvenile passengers were uninjured and her vehicle was towed from the scene with disabling damage. Gratiot First and Fire, and Green County EMS assisted on scene.
On August 6:
● 1:46 a.m. A deputy responded to E Pleasant ST in the Village of South Wayne for suspicious activity.
● 3:58 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 78, Argyle Township for trespassing.
