●  Genaro Vazquez Martinez, 30, Monroe, pleaded no contest March 5 to two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. Related charges including battery were dismissed. He also had his deferred prosecution agreement revoked on a misdemeanor conviction of cocaine possession. He was sentenced to two years on probation and owes $886 in court assessments. Court records indicate he pushed and punched a woman in front of three young children at his home in the 700 block of 17th Street on Sept. 7.

●  C & D Landscaping & Design, Inc., Elkhorn, was ordered March 11 to pay $389 in fines and court costs, plus restitution, for a misdemeanor conviction of issuing a worthless check in the amount of $2,440.66 to Monroe Truck Equipment in May 2018.

●  Lonnie Duane Severson, 51, Monroe, pleaded no contest March 12 to a misdemeanor charge of criminal damage to property, with a disorderly conduct charge dismissed, and was sentenced to one year on probation. He owes $443 in court assessments. Court records indicate he was “highly intoxicated” and aggressive after drinking all night Aug 3 at a residence in the 1000 block of 16th Avenue. A relative in the home wanted him to leave. He broke her bedroom door, grabbed her arms and threatened to hit her if she called police, according to police reports.

●  Justin John Curran, 37, Monroe, entered a one-year deferred prosecution agreement March 15 on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct, stemming from a dispute Dec. 15 at his home on 10th Street. Court records indicate he was “highly intoxicated,” had a blood-alcohol content of 0.264% and shattered the glass in a door. Conditions of his agreement include assessments for anger management, domestic violence and alcohol and other drug abuse (AODA) counseling.

●  Irby L. Swatsell, 43, Brodhead, pleaded guilty March 15 to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct, with an attempted battery charge dismissed but “read in” to the case. He was fined. The case stems from an incident at a residence on 19th Street in Brodhead on Oct. 16, 2008. Police reports indicate he was arguing loudly with a woman, slapped her in the back of the head and pushed her to the ground.

●  Shawn William Boss, 19, jailed in Monroe, had his probation revoked on misdemeanor convictions of disorderly conduct and battery and was sentenced May 8 to nine months in jail. The revocation warrant states Boss failed to complete his Alternative to Revocation programming, threatened a roommate, drank alcohol and attempted to “headbutt” a fellow jail inmate. His agent wrote, “Mr. Boss has a history of battery and getting into physical altercations with people. When he was given the opportunity for treatment, he was bragging about past assaultive behavior and then threatened to shoot another resident at Rock Valley Community Programs.”

●  Naomi Renea Balderas, 36, New Glarus, pleaded no contest May 15 to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct and had her probation revoked on two misdemeanor convictions of battery. She was sentenced to nine months in jail. The more recent disorderly conduct conviction stems from an incident March 3, 2018 at a residence in New Glarus, during which she reportedly threw rocks at a vehicle, swore at a man and tried to break his vehicle window. Revocation documents indicate she also violated her probation by absconding from supervision. She left a residential treatment program in June 2018 and, for about eight months, admitted to using heroin every day and living in and out of motels, which she paid for through prostitution. Her agent noted, “Ms. Balderas’s behavior demonstrates the lack of respect she has for the law.”

●  Clyde Lee Leverton, 48, South Wayne, pleaded no contest May 23 to an ordinance violation of disorderly conduct, downgraded from a misdemeanor. He was assessed $236 in court fines and fees. The case stems from an incident at the Monticello Public Library on June 14, 2018. According to the criminal complaint, a frequent library visitor was putting together a puzzle when she noticed a man making loud grunting sounds nearby to get her attention and when she looked in his direction, she noticed he was “stroking” the outside of his clothing. A library clerk told police Leverton had been recently visiting the library and making patrons feel uncomfortable.

●  Nicholas Jason Roth, 39, Albany, pleaded no contest March 18 to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge. A charge of battery was dismissed. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail. He owes the court $1,104.33. The case stems from an incident at a Brodhead home on July 4, 2018. Court records indicate he punched a woman in the mouth and grabbed and twisted her arm while she was holding a toddler and her teenage son was present.
