On June 14:
● 10:45pm, while on patrol, Police observed Suspicious Activity in the 2300 block of 1st Center Ave; motorcycle parked in lot after hours. Contact with registered owner was made and Police were advised that there were mechanical issues with the motorcycle. No additional suspicious activity was found.
● 11:58pm, a 48 hour parking notice was issued in the 1300 block of W 2nd Ave.
On June 15:
● 11:03am, Police responded to the 1900 block of 1st Center Ave for a report of Disorderly Conduct; subject reporting disorderly conduct at a business. Upon interviewing both parties, no citations or warnings were issued at this time.
On June 16:
● 12:01am, while on patrol, Police located a hazard in the 600 block of 1st St; road closed signs fallen over. Officers picked the signs up and put them back in their places.
● 1:49am, a 48 hour notice was issued in the 900 block of W Exchange St for a vehicle in violation of the City’s 48 Hour Parking Ordinance and Junk Vehicle Ordinance.
● 2:22pm, Police responded to the W700 block of Golf Course Rd for a report of Suspicious Activity; report of subjects camping in park. Officers made contact with individual and it was found they were temporarily stopped there to rest; no additional suspicious activity was found.
● 5:25pm, Police responded to the 1000 block of 21st St for a report of an Animal Problem; unknown dog laying under deck and wouldn’t come out. Officers were unable to capture dog and attempts to locate an owner are being performed.
● 11:55pm, a parking citation was issued in the E100 block of 4th St for Parking Left of Center Facing Traffic.
On June 17:
● 2:36am, a 19 year old Whitewater man was cited in the 700 block of 1st St for Operating After Suspension and Failure To Transfer Title.
● 4:45am, Police responded to the 1200 block of E 3rd Ave for the report of a Theft; items stolen out of car. This matter remains under investigation.
● 4:49am, Police responded to the 200 block of 13th St for a report of Trespassing; subject coming onto property and going through vehicles, no items stolen at this time. This matter remains under investigation.
● 8:04am, while on patrol, Officers noticed a vehicle parked blocking a driveway. Contact with driver was made and a verbal warning was issued.
● 8:15am, Police responded to the 500 block of E 2nd Ave for a report of Suspicious Activity; subjects in area kicked a garbage can over.
● 8:25am, Police responded to the 1200 block of E 2nd Ave for a report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. This matter remains under investigation.
On June 17:
● 11:16am, Police responded to the 400 block of 3rd St for a report of an Animal Problem; unknown dog in yard. The owner was not located; the dog was released to the Green County Humane Society.
● 11:27am, Police responded to the 1300 block of E 4th Ave for a report of Theft; items stolen from vehicle. This matter remains under investigation.
● 12:57pm, Police responded to the 200 block of 12th St for a report of Trespassing; subject coming onto property and going through vehicles, no items stolen at this time. This matter remains under investigation.
● 1:48pm, Police responded to the 100 block of Cedar Ave for a report of Burglary; items stolen out of vehicle in garage. This matter remains under investigation.
● 3:10pm, Police responded to the 700 block of 1st Center Ave for a report of an Animal Problem; dog at large. Contact with owner was made and dog was returned.
● 11:08pm, a 38 year old Monroe woman was arrested in the 900 block of 21st St for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession Medication without a Prescription, and Obstructing an Officer. She was also arrested on an active warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff’s Department. The driver of the vehicle, a 28 year old Brodhead woman, was cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration and Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance Required.
On June 18:
● 7:56pm, Police responded to the 300 block of 14th St. for the report of Disorderly Conduct; a subject causing a disturbance. Contact was made and the matter was resolved.
● 11:22pm, Police responded to the 100 block of 10th St. for the report of a Domestic Problem; subjects involved in a verbal altercation. Contact was made the matter was resolved.
● 11:51pm, Police responded to the 200 block of 1st St. for the report of Suspicious Activity; a vehicle parked in a business lot after hours. Contact was made with the driver who had pulled over to make a phone call.
On June 26:
● 1:01am, while on patrol, Police noticed a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of 1st Center Ave. Contact with driver was made and no additional suspicious activity was found.
●1:42am, a 23 year old Janesville woman was cited in the 500 block of E 9th Ave for Speeding.
●2:31am, a 49 year old Brodhead man was arrested in the 200 block of 10th St for Operating While Intoxicated and Prohibited Alcohol Content.
● 2:46pm, Police responded to the 1100 block of W 5th Ave for the report of an Animal Problem; dog at large. Owner was located and dog was returned home.
On June 27:
● 5:34pm, Police responded to the 600 block of 4th St for the report of Suspicious Activity; subjects driving around taking pictures of houses. Police patrolled area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
On June 28:
● 7:07pm, a 30 yar old Monroe man was cited in the 1200 block of 1st Center Ave for No Insurance on Motor Vehicle.
On June 29:
● 4:01am, Police responded to the 1600 block of E 4th Ave for the report of Suspicious Activity; lights moving around back yard. Officers investigated and it was found to be a motion light that was going on and off.
● 2:19pm, Police responded to the 500 block of E 2nd Ave for the report of Suspicious Activity; unknown subject biking on their driveway. No items were stolen or tampered with, complainant wanted information documented.
