Green County Sheriff 

MONROE — Tara M. Mick, 35, Juda, was transported by Brodhead EMS to Monroe Clinic for injuries she sustained in a rollover crash reported at 7:43 a.m. Thursday, May 30, in the N2200 block of County G, Town of Spring Grove. She was southbound when her passenger-side tires entered the gravel shoulder. She overcorrected, and her vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. Mick was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle. The Brodhead Police and Fire Departments and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources assisted deputies on scene.

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident in the W1600 block of County EE, Town of Albany, at 9:23 a.m. Saturday, June 1. Anna B. Thomas Bates, 42, Albany, was westbound when her front left wheel came off. The wheel rolled into the other lane and struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Christopher M. Lange, 45, Albany. Both vehicles then came to rest. The vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.

●  Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at about 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, in the N4500 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe. Ger Yang, 48, Sun Prairie, was southbound and preparing to turn when he was rear-ended by Sean Benseman, 50, Reedsburg. Yang and his passenger Peter Yang, 41, Sun Prairie, had to be extricated from their vehicle. They were taken by ambulance to Monroe Clinic for treatment of their injuries. The Yang vehicle had disabling damage and was removed from the scene by Don’s Towing. Benseman also required extrication. He was also taken by ambulance to Monroe Clinic. The airbags in Benseman’s vehicle deployed. It sustained disabling damage and was towed by Don’s Towing. Benseman was cited for inattentive driving. The Monroe Police and Fire Departments and Green County EMS assisted on scene.

DARLINGTON — On Wednesday, May 29:

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 4:53 p.m. on County F, Town of Darlington. Carl J. Knapp, 66, Darlington, was backing out of his driveway when he backed into a vehicle parked along the road, operated by Diego Camacho Jr., 65, Mount Horeb, Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.

●  Gary F. Birk, 57, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg, at 10:08 p.m. Friday, May 31. The 2017 Cadillac sustained minor damage.

On Saturday, June 1:

●  A vehicle vs. power pole accident was reported at 9:38 a.m. on Gravel Run Road, Town of Lamont.

●  Janet M. West, 66, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 10:05 a.m. on Riverside Road, Town of Darlington. Her 2003 Honda sustained minor damage.

●  Michael W. Ware, 60, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer at 4:04 a.m. June 4, on County E, Town of Darlington. No injuries were reported. The 2012 Ford sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

●  James R. Deininger, 52, Hazel Green, reported hitting a deer at 5:57 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, on County U, Town of White Oak Springs. The 2017 Ford sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
