MONROE - Monroe Clinic was named one of the nation's Top 100 Integrated Health Networks, according to IMS Analytics.
This is the seventh consecutive year Monroe Clinic is listed on the Top 100, ranking this year at 81.
The 2012 edition identifies the top 100 IHNs from more than 500 participating non-specialty, local and regional networks in the United States that meet critical success factors.
Ratings are based on SDI's IHN Rating System, which evaluates each network's ability to operate in eight categories: integration, integrated technology, contractual capabilities, outpatient utilization, financial stability, services and access, hospital utilization and physicians.
Chief Medical Officer Mark Thompson, M.D., said that Monroe Clinic was strong in the integrated technology category, which allows the clinic to use the best modern medical tools for their patients.
