MONROE - The Monroe High School chorus is competing in a Glee/Fox TV contest to help music programs in need.
The MHS Choir submitted a video that was accepted to be part of the contest. Jenni Stretsbery, a senior choir member, created the video during Homecoming week, so students are dressed in wacky outfits. MHS principal Rick Waski submitted the video to the contest on the choir's behalf. MHS is one of just seven schools from Wisconsin competing in the contest.
The top 73 vote-getters in the contest will receive prizes of $10,000 to $50,000. Voting continues until Nov. 7.
To vote for MHS, got to gleegiveanote.com, select Wisconsin and then Monroe High School.
A vote can be cast each day.
