MONROE - The Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW) recently honored Julie Bartell, PharmD, CACP, as the "2011 Young Pharmacist of the Year," during the 2011 PSW annual meeting in La Crosse.
Bartell is an ambulatory pharmacist and residency director at Monroe Clinic. She also serves as a preceptor for the pharmacy student rotation in the Pharmacotherapy Clinic. According to the PSW, several colleagues and co-workers independently nominated her for the award.
The award is presented annually to recognize and honor a Wisconsin pharmacist in his or her first 10 years of practice who makes significant contributions to professional pharmacy organizations and demonstrates dedication to the practice of pharmacy.
