The Green County Highway Committee will meet at 10 a.m. at the highway commissioner's office. Agenda items include a discussion of budgeted office improvements and a review of local government paver patch, seal coat and paving costs.

The City of Monroe Judiciary and Ordinance Review Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include possible recommendations on ordinances concerning weapons and firearms and on hours of solid waste collection.

The City of Brodhead will meet at 7 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include possible action from matters addressed in closed session.

The School District of Black Hawk Board will meet at 7 p.m. at the library in Gratiot. Agenda items include a discussion and possible action regarding the sale of a Gratiot building.

Wednesday, January 11

The Green County Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. at the sheriff's office. Agenda items include a review of jail population, medical issues and public safety issues.

The City of Monroe Plan Commission will meet at 5 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include grant easements to UTELCO, LLC.

The Town of Jefferson will meet for its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at the Juda Community Center.

The Green County Aging and Disability Advisory Committee will meet at 2 p.m. at the Government Services Building. Agenda items include the County Aging Unit Plan 2013-15 process/timetable.

The City of Monroe Senior Citizens Board will meet at 3:30 p.m. at the Behring Senior Center. Agenda items include action on sponsorship of senior fun fest health fair.

The Green County Pleasant View Nursing Home Oversight Committee will meet at 5 p.m. at the administrator office at Pleasant View Nursing Home. Agenda items include a review of financial reports and approval of bills.

The Green County Solid Waste Management Board will meet at 7 p.m. at the landfill office. Agenda items include an open session for possible action regarding matters discussed in closed session.
