The Monroe Plan Commission will meet at 5 p.m. at the westside fire station. Agenda items include an ordinance rewrite removing reference to aldermanic districts in city code and redefining the Smoky Row sub-district.

The Airport Board of Management will meet at 5 p.m. at the Monroe Municipal Airport. Agenda items include appointment of the 2017 airport manager and discussion of a proposed communication tower on Iliff Road in Monroe Township.

The Darlington Community School District Finance Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the board meeting room at the elementary/middle school. Agenda items include discussion of bids for energy efficiency loans.

The Juda School District Collaboration Committee will meet at 5:45 p.m. in the library. Agenda items include discussion of the Teacher Handbook.

The Darlington Community School District Negotiations Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the board meeting room at the elementary/middle school. Agenda items include discussion of employee handbook and salaries and benefits.

The Village of New Glarus Parks and Recreation Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Village Hall boardroom, 319 2nd St., New Glarus. Agenda items include discussion of pool and parks and rec fees and a ballfield sinking fund.

The Village of New Glarus Public Works/Public Safety Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall boardroom, 319 2nd St., New Glarus. Agenda items include discussion of license applications.

The Juda School District Board will have meet at 7 p.m. in the library. Agenda items include discussion of Adult School Crossing Guard Recognition Week, JAM and the national convention.

The School District of Brodhead Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the district office board room. Agenda items include discussion of policies and the high school programs of studies.

Thursday, January 12

The Green County Aging and Disability Advisory Committee will meet at 2 p.m. in the large auditorium of the Government Services Building, N3152 Wisconsin 81, Monroe. Agenda items include discussion of congregate site closure and the Volunteer Network.

The Senior Citizens Board will meet at 3:30 p.m. at the Behring Senior Center. Agenda items include action on the 2017 age requirement and discussion of hiring professionals to evaluate the building for referral to the city for either an addition or a new building.

The Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County Hospital Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. in the MHLC downstairs conference room. Agenda items include discussion of bylaws update, Unity Point Meriter affiliation and legal settlement with legal counsel.

The Green County Solid Waste Management Board will meet at 7 p.m. at the Green County Landfill office. Agenda items include discussion of hauler permits and 2017 rates.



Friday, January 13

The Green County Audit Subcommittee of the Human Services Board will meet at 1:15 p.m. in the second-floor conference room, Government Services Building, Pleasant View Complex, Monroe. Agenda items include discussion of bills for payment, moving into closed session at 1:35 p.m. for client-specific bills.



Monday, January 16

The Green County Government Services Building Committee will meet at 8 a.m. in the first-floor conference room, Green County Courthouse, Monroe. Agenda items include discussion of Potter Lawson architect firm regarding the government services building.

The Green County Auditing, Bonding and Claims Committee will meet at 10 a.m. in the finance conference room, Green County Courthouse, 1016 16th Ave., Monroe. Agenda items include discussion of personnel matters in closed session, reconvening in open session.

The Town of Sylvester will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Sylvester Town Hall. Agenda items include discussion of individuals to nominate through Town Caucus for spring election ballot. Monthly board meeting to immediately follow.
