Monticello’s four-year high school building, circa 1947. Built in 1913 on the same site as the previous 2-year high school building and razed in 1980 to make space for the current school buildings. It is well lighted and ventilated, equipped with an approved steam heating system, has bubbling drinking fountains on all floors, indoor toilets and a commodious assembly room.
