This photo is taken from the east side of Monroe’s Square looking to the south. This scene was in 1910 and shows very high snow piles around the Square, probably shoveled by hand. This photo is from the archives of the Green County Historical Society Museum. The museum is always looking for old photos, hopefully with the people in them identified. The museum is staffed on Monday mornings. The collection of Monroe High School M-books is still in need of the dates 1927 to 1935 or after 1999.
