Amy Campbell talks about her best friend, Larry, a golden long-haired cat.
Campbell has always been a pet lover, but never had any inside pets. When she saw a fluffy golden kitten reminiscent of a lion on a friend’s farm, she knew she had to have him. “He was the cutest kitten I’ve ever seen,” Campbell said.

Describe Larry’s personality.
He’s great. He’s got a lot of personality. He’s very loving but has a wild side. He likes to play and sometimes he bites. He likes people and likes interacting with them.
One time he slapped my friend Andy Rocheleau and knocked his glasses off. He is the talk of the friend group. Everybody loves Larry. He’s also visited Parkside Elementary School for show-and-tell.
What do you and Larry like to do together?
We enjoy sitting on the front porch, lying on the couch and that seems to sum it up.
What has it been like having Larry in your life?
My God. He’s like having a furry kid. He’s a little cuter and a little less maintenance than a kid. He’s a good guy.
