CITY OF MONROE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON BOUNDARY FOR REDEVELOPMENT AREA NO. 1

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. the City of Monroe Common Council will hold a Public Hearing in the City Hall Council Chambers, Monroe City Hall, 1110 18th Avenue, Monroe, WI. At that time a reasonable opportunity will be afforded to all interested parties to express their view on the proposed Redevelopment Area No. 1 Boundary. A copy of the Redevelopment Area Boundary Map and property survey report will be available for inspection and will be provided upon request. A public hearing will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 1110 18th Ave, Monroe, Wisconsin, on January 7, 2019 at 6:30pm relative to the following proposed ordinances: • ORDINANCE CREATING CHAPTER 1-16 OF THE MONROE CITY CODE: Public Records – the proposed ordinance adopts the Wisconsin Public Records Laws • ORDINANCE REPEALING AND RECREATING SUBSECTION 1-15-5(F) OF THE MONROE CITY CODE: Code of Ethics Disclosure of Closed Session Information – the proposed ordinance allows closed session information to be released only by authorization of the council. • ORDINANCE REPEALING AND RECREATING SECTION 2-2-2 OF THE MONROE CITY CODE: Board of Review Meetings – The proposed ordinance is a cleanup to match the state statute’s timeframe for the Board of Review’s first meeting The proposed ordinances are available for inspection at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall located at 1110 18th Avenue.
