PROCEEDINGS OF THE GREEN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS November 10, 2020 County Boardroom, Green County Courthouse, 1016 16th Ave, Monroe, WI

Arthur Carter, Chair, called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. The Clerk read the roll call with 30 present, and Supervisor Lonien absent. The Board recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Chair Carter announced the public hearing. Motion by Guth, seconded by Mandel to dissolve as a County Board and convene as a Committee of the Whole. Motion carried on a voice vote. A public hearing on the proposed 2021 Green County budget was held. No one from the public spoke. Motion by Guth, seconded by Mandel to dissolve as a Committee of the Whole and reconvene as a County Board. Motion carried on a voice vote. The proposed 2021 budget was read by Finance and Accounting Chair Guth. RESOLUTION NO. 1 RESOLVED: That the sum of $208.76 be and is hereby levied upon the taxable property of the several towns, villages, and cities in Green County in accordance with the instructions of the Finance Committee for the purpose of collecting the following: State Special Charges to Districts $208.76; and County Charge backs to Districts $0.00. Motion by Guth, seconded by Bernstein to approve Resolution No.1. Motion carried on voice vote. RESOLUTION NO. 2 RESOLVED: That the sum of $50,000.00, be and is hereby levied upon the taxable property of the several towns, villages, and cities in Green County (excepting that within the limits of the City of Monroe, the City of Brodhead, the Village of Browntown, the Village of Brooklyn, and the Village of New Glarus) for County Aid for construction of bridges.
