Notice of Pending Application for Proposed Dredging

David Mosher, PO Box 427, Monroe, WI, 53566, has applied to the Department of Natural Resources for a permit to Dredge. The project is located within the City of Monroe Golf Course in the NW of NE of Section 02, Township 01N, Range 07E in City of Monroe, Green County. The project consists of dredging accumulated sediment within two existing in-line ponds along Little Richland Creek within the City of Monroe Golf Course. The smaller pond will have approximately 318 cubic yards and the larger pond 3,875 cubic yards of material removed. Dewatering and material spreading will be onsite on-site of wetlands. The Department will review the proposal provided by the applicant and any information from public comments and the public informational hearing. The Department will determine whether the proposal complies with ss. 1.11, 30.20, and 30.208, Stats., and ch. NR 150, Wis. Adm. Code, and ensure that the required mitigation meets the standards in s. 281.36(3r), Stats. if the project impacts wetlands. The Department has made a tentative determination that it will issue the contract for the proposed activity.
