ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The Lake Summerset Association will receive sealed bids for a project entitled Lodge Roof Replacement Project until 1:30 o'clock P.M. local time on the 26th day of September 2023, at the Lake Summerset Lodge located at 1202 Lake Summerset Road, Davis, Illinois 61019. The proposed work for which Lake Summerset Association is soliciting bids consists of, but is not limited to, the following: the removal of the existing roofing system and the installation of a new roofing system consisting of fiberglass laminated shingles over ventilated insulated panels and other associated work. Bid and Contract Documents may be obtained on September 7, 2023. Copies of the Bidding Documents shall be obtained electronically in PDF format from the Willett, Hofmann & Associates, Inc. website at www.WillettHofmann.com. Bidders shall click on “Bid Login” on the homepage of the website and follow instructions. The eBidDoc# (project number) is 8662166 for this project. Contract Documents can be down-loaded in PDF format from the website by depositing Twenty-Two Dollars ($22.00) by credit card. A bid security in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the total base bid shall be submitted with each bid. Bids may be held by Lake Summerset Association for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifica-tions of bidders, prior to awarding the Contract. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference has been set for September 13, 2023 at 1:30 PM at the Project Site. Lake Summerset Association reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding and also reserves the right to reject any non-responsive bid and/or non-responsible bid.
