CALL TO ORDER FOR THIS MEETING Council President Michael Boyce called the Common Council to order on August 20, 2018. Present at roll call were Alders Michael Boyce, BrookeBauman, Chris Beer, Jeff Newcomer, Richard Thoman, Ron Marsh, Donna Douglas, and Mickey Beam. Alder Rob Schilt and Mayor Louis Armstrong were absent. A. CORRECTION OF MINUTES None. B. PRESENTATIONS OF PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATION None. C. APPEARANCES BY THE PUBLIC 1. Larry Whitehead of Green County ATV Club to address the Common Council regarding the trail head Roger Markham addressed the Council in Larry Whitehead's absence to request assistance on finding a way to enlarge the trail head parking lot as well as issues they are facing with the cost of the porta potty. Melissa Even addressed the Council following Roger to inform the Council that she has been receiving an increasing number of calls regarding ATV Tourism and suggests getting ahead of the surge and finding a way to garner advertising. 2. Presentation by Patricia Gregory Patricia Gregory addressed the Council and shared her experiences with the Senior Center. D. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Review for the Town of Clarno of Green County, WI. will be held on the 23rd day of October 2018, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., at the Town Hall in the Town of Clarno. The Open Book sessions for the Town of Clarno will be held at the Clarno Town Hall on the following date, October 09, 2018, 12:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. When appearing before the Board, the person shall specify, in writing, the persons estimate of the value of the land and of the improvements that are the subject of the person’s objection and specify the information that the person used to arrive at the estimate. No person may appear before the Board of Review, testify to the Board by telephone or subject or object to a valuation; if that valuation was made by the Assessor or the Objector using the income method; unless the person supplies the Assessor all of the information about income and expenses, as specified in the manual under Sec. 73.03(2a), that the Assessor request. The Board shall hear upon oath, by telephone, all ill or disabled persons who present to the Board a letter from a physician, surgeon or osteopath that confirms their illness or disability.
