PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice of Initiation of the Section 106 Process-Public Participation in accordance with the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC or Commission) Nationwide Programmatic Agreement. Wisconsin Power and Light has constructed a communications facility at W4989 Washington Road, Monticello, Green County, WI 53570 (Latitude: 42-45-4.02 N and Longitude: 89-36-28.75 W). The facility included the replacement of an existing wooden overhead utility pole with a taller utility pole/telecommunications tower with an approximate overall height of 65 ft. and associated equipment. Wisconsin Power and Light publishes this notice in accordance with FCC regulations (47 C.F.R. § 1.1307) in connection with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
