A) CALL TO ORDER The Common Council meeting was called to order by Mayor Douglas at 6:34 PM on Monday, May 20, 2024. B) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE C) ROLL CALL Present at roll call were Alders Richard Thoman, Tom Miller, Lynne Kleven, Heidi Treuthardt, Corinne Wartenweiler, and Kyle Knoll. Absent were Alders Andrew Kranig and Mary Jane Grenzow. D) CORRECTION OF MINUTES - MAY 6, 2024 The May 6, 2024, minutes were accepted as presented. E) PRESENTATIONS OF PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATION F) BUSINESS BY MAYOR Mayor Douglas held a moment of silence for Alder Kranig's brother. J.2) Ordinance Approving of Petition of Annexation - Bas Property for Residential and Commercial Property Alders Thoman and Miller commented that this annexation is exciting for the community. K) LICENSE COMMITTEE K.1) Resolution Approving of Main Street Monroe's Temporary Class B and Beer Garden Applications for Concerts on the Square Motion made by Kyle Knoll and seconded by Heidi Treuthardt to approve the resolution with amendment. On a roll call vote, Motion Passed. Motion by Tom Miller, seconded by Lynne Kleven to amend the resolution to allow a change of location for the concerts upon designated area between the Chief of Police and Main Street Monroe.
