SIDEWALK Bidding Documents may be obtained from the City Engineering Department, located at 1821 12th Street, Monroe, Wisconsin. The first copy of any such Bidding Documents are free of charge. A $10 fee will be charged for any additional copies obtained. Overnight mailing of Bidding Documents will not be provided. Completed Bidder's Proof of Responsibility forms must be submitted at least five (5) days prior to bid opening. Bidder's Proof of Responsibility forms are required once per calendar year. Bidders not submitting said forms at least five (5) days prior to bid opening may be considered non-responsive and their bids may not be read. Bids must be accompanied by a Contract and a Bid Bond with sureties as prescribed by the form attached. Bond must be completed with the exception of the signatures on the part of the City, and the amount must be equal to 5% of the Bid. Bond should be payable to the City of Monroe as a guarantee that, if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the proper Contract and Performance Bond within the time limit specified by the City of Monroe. NO CASH OR CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. If the Successful Bidder fails to file an executed Contract and Performance Bond with the City, the Bid Bond will be executed and its face value will be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. The City of Monroe reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. (hereafter Bytec) is a contract waste hauler that provides short-term storage and landspreading of industrial wastes from numerous confidential clients. Bytec also directly applies sewage sludge. Bytec does not manage septage waste under this WPDES permit. Bytec typically operates under two scenarios: 1. Wastes are received from off-site industrial generators, stored in Bytec’s tanks, and before being landspread, the tanks are mixed, the wastes are sampled, then landspread on department approved sites. No sewage sludge or septage is stored in the tanks. 2. Wastes are received from off-site generators and hauled directly to department-approved fields for landspreading without storage. Proposed Modification: Addition of Outfall 223 for the PW Pit, which has been approved for the storage of industrial washwater and irrigation water generated onsite. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the proposed permit action, or to request a public hearing, may write to the Department of Natural Resources at the permit drafter’s address. All comments or suggestions received no later than 30 days after the publication date of this public notice will be considered along with other information on file in making a final decision regarding the permit. Anyone providing comments in response to this public notice will receive a notification of the Department’s final decision when the permit is issued. The Department may schedule a public informational hearing if requested by any person and shall schedule an informational hearing if a petition requesting a hearing is received from 5 or more persons or if response to this notice indicates significant public interest pursuant to s. 283.49, Stats. There will be a public hearing before the Green County Zoning and Land Use Committee relative to the rezoning of a parcel of land from the Agricultural district to the Commercial zoning district. The current landowner is Paul Beach; tenant is Jeremy Beach, and is located in NE ¼, NE ¼, of Section 18, T1N-R7E, Town of Clarno. Rezoning is proposed by the applicant for the sale of fermented malt beverage for on premise consumption.
